Is it possible to have thunderbird ask for master password only when trying to view the passwords or accessing the security section?

Not having to enter the password every day, every time thunderbird starts would be great in a professional environment where employees must have access to the emails but not to the passwords.

Thanks!

The master password is the encryption key to the password store. If it were stored on the machine then the encryption would be as good as useless.
