I want to be able to delete an email from any device and that email will be removed from the email service. I want to avoid having to delete the same email individually from each of three devices I use.

Chosen solution

Do all your devices use IMAP? By and large, deleting on one will delete on others. If that doesn't happen, you may be up against non-standard implementations of IMAP on your mobile devices. I find that messages deleted elsewhere tend to persist on tablets and phones, though usually, with patience, and waiting for a refresh cycle, I find that they do eventually vanish of their own accord.
