I moved a mail from my Inbox to a specific subfolder. The programm started to get stuck, the blue wheel wouldn't go, maybe because of a connection malfunction. I restarted Thunderbird. Now the email is neither in the Inbox, nor in the folder I moved it too, nor on the server. It is still displaying in search results. How can I access it.

you probably need to correct the search index. The mail it refers to has gone to e-mail heaven. It is hard to say, but when you force a restart when things are "Stuck" data is usually lost in the process. This does not just apply to Thunderbird..

You might try the recover deleted email add-on against the folder the mail used to be in. https://freeshell.de//~kaosmos/index-en.html#recDelMsg
