Hi, when I try to send my self an email or cc myself when sending an email to myself, I get the following message. BTW, I use RCN as my provider and they say it is probably a settings problem with mozilla. My email is alpert@rcn.com.

" An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: 5.5.2 RCPT error to syntax error. Please check the message recipient, " alpert@rcn.com" and try again.

Anything that anyone can do to help me out will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Mark

your message error contains this text

 " alpert@rcn.com"

that blank space before the address makes the address invalid. If you have added yourself to the address book I suggest you check for a leading space in the entry you have created.
