Ive tried everything from this article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cant-download-or-save-files and this one https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems. I tried opening in safe mode. that didnt work. I also reset my computer as this is a brand new PC, and i cant figure it out. I have no idea whats causing it, it just randomly happened today in my web design class when i was trying to download some files

What are the exact error message(s) ?

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

Unfortunately I am unable to connect to wi-fi in this mode, only Ethernet, which I don't happen to have a cable on me. But I can download stuff on other browsers.

Did you select With Network Support?

I had no problem with the links you posted.

Something is blocking your access; Your ISP, your protection programs, proxy settings . . . . .

Its a possibility, but it only effects firefox. other browsers i can download stuff fine. And it works on my other computer.

You need to check all of those.

For example, the firewall may let one browser have access to the web, but for whatever reason block another.

My account was part of a family group. I set this up like 5 years ago when I had an xbox. My mom was the owner of the group. I left the group and that fixed all my issues. Thanks for the help.
