I have bookmarks to multiple pages in the same domain and they show up with the same icon. How can I change them so that I can differentiate them? I prefer to just have icons instead of names/text for my bookmarks.

You can't.

But you can change the title of each bookmark so they corresponds to whatever page it leads to, even if it is the same domain.

Well that's disappointing. Thanks for your response.

Hi! On my bookmark menu there are 13 totally same icons of totally different pages (like weather pages, sport, translation pages and so on.. have the same facebook-like icon). In the old version I could differ them, now it is just frustrating and there is no solution..?! If I change their name, it appears as well and I don't have such a big place for each..! I hope, Mozilla will fix it soon..!! Thanks!

Hi dettyplease

If those bookmarks are for different domains then you possibly have a problem with the favicons.sqlite or places.sqlite database files.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
