I had saved some emails and I did put them back in thunderbird (copy + paste) whithin my profile, I did not use another profile. When I had them back, thunderbird could not connect to my internet-server. I tried to get another password from my internet service provider but I saw that they did not support thunderbird as an email-client. How can I reconnect to the server? I have a backup of thunderbird maybe I should install the whole program?

perhaps you could provide some information, like what you did and who your provider is.v I am not aware of any that provide direct support for Thunderbird. They support their web mail. But that does not say mail clients can not work with them.
