Hi, after update, youtube or any other site when playing media, favicon disapears from tab, and only sound icon shows. How to make it show favicon too, like it was before update? Maybe there is some setting?

Hi, this is a feature of the "Compact" density option, since tabs in Compact mode do not have the additional line of text indicating "PLAYING", "MUTED", etc.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in feature to modify how the speaker icon/mute button appears on tabs.

There is an "community supported" option, which is to create a userChrome.css file to apply a style rule that moves the speaker over a bit so you can still see the site icon. Since this is not officially supported by Mozilla, forum volunteers typically provide referrals to external resources.

I have a page on my site to generate tab styling rules, and it includes some code for the speaker icon, along with general help on setting up the file. You also can find other rules and get personal assistance on the FirefoxCSS subreddit.

Hope this helps.

I guess for me best option will be not to use "compact ui".
