How does one correct this issue? I know it must have been a change I made.

''''Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue'

Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to passwords.google.com because this website requires a secure connection.

What can you do about it?

passwords.google.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

No issue clicking the link to go to google accounts. Are you sure your not cookie or NS blocking. As doing so can prevent system authentication thus blocking your access. And did you try in Private Mode windows browsing.
