In either standard Firefox, when I watch Youtube videos, roughly 1% of battery charge is used per minute of viewing, i.e. if I watch 20 minutes of a video, my charge has gone down 20%. Is there something I can do to fix this besides getting rid of Firefox?

Hi

Yes, this does sound more like a phone issue than a Firefox for iOS issue.

Hi

What model of iPhone do you have?

What version of Firefox for iOS do you have installed?

It's an iPhone 6S. The OS for the phone is 15.7.3. The Firefox version is 109.0. Battery was replaced. I stopped using Firefox for now. I'm using Safari. It's helped, but the battery still drains faster. I think the phone may be on its way out. This was sudden. A month ago, everything was fine. I think though it might be time to replace the phone.
