Thunderbird "not responding" on Windows 10
Thunderbird takes forever to do anything and often it says it is not responding. My husband was the computer tech and he recently passed away. I try and delete extra emails and empty the trash on all our email accounts regularly. what can be the problem?

This may be slightly challenging, but if you print out the instructions it will not be so difficult:
- Start Windows in safe mode with networking enabled https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode
- Still in Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in Troubleshoot mode https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-mode-thunderbird
