The min requirements are at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/system-requirements.html

Could you provide some more info about where you tried to download from, with what, and your system specs?

You usually get that error message if you use IE to download Firefox. The download page doesn't recognize the IE user agent and give that error message instead. I get the same error if I use your user agent and click the Download button on the http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ page http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/unsupported-systems.html?product=firefox-3.6.3&os=win&lang=en-US

You can download and save the Firefox installer to your desktop and start the installation with a double click. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
