Firefox doesn't open my tabs when restarting.
Yes, I've read all information on the Help site of Firefox. But I still have problems with my tabs. I want Firefox to remember which tabs I had opened when I closed Firefox. In the options menu I selected 'Show my windows and tabs from last time' and I tried closing Firefox by clicking the close button in the menu on the left. (It's in Dutch for me and I have no idea what those terms are in English). But it still doesn't work. Also when I reset my homepage to the standard Firefox homepage (about: home) there should be a 'restore previous session' button. But there isn't. I tried and checked everything and I would really like to have this problem solved. Could you please help me? :)

Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the 'Browsing History' (Navigatiegeschiedenis) when you close Firefox.
Obviously I didn't think clearing my Browsing History would affect my problem. But you're right, it did.
In my Privacy Options I selected 'Custom settings for history' and 'clear history when Firefox closes' in which I selected that if I close Firefox, the following would be automatically deleted: Browsing History, Download History. I just shouldn’t have checked 'Browsing History'. The funny thing is, that in my belief I had always selected my options like this (so also clearing Browsing History when closing Firefox) and my previous sessions just came up as I restarted Firefox. Is it about the new Firefox (because Firefox doesn't ask to save or not to save the tabs anymore) or is it just my mistake?

I have the same problem and I say "Remember history". I don't get any tabs showing at startup and I get several firefox windows started every time I start up. I have to close all but the very first one to get going again and I have to bring up the tabs I "think" I had before.
