It take a long time to load firefox. I see a avg tool bar, and also a yahoo tool bar. I would like to remove them.

Firstly you should be able to easily disable them by right clicking on a empty spot on the toolbars and they should appear in the right click popup menu. Deselecting could be enough, but if you are like me and want to remove them completely:

They should be listed as extensions in your add-on manager. Tools > Add-ons (or Ctrl+Shift+A)

When you find it, there should be a few buttons next to it. If you don't see a button that says "Remove", Restarting Firefox in safe mode could sometimes do the trick. Start > Run, type "firefox -safe-mode" (without the "quotations") and hit enter. If you still cant find any remove button next to those toolbars you want removed, try to find and uninstall them via windows Add or Remove Programs that you can find in your Control Panel. Start > Settings > Controll Panel

It could often be a headache trying to removing add-ons and extensions, hopefully it goes smoothly for you this time.
