i want to cancel that it search for text while im typing in the address bare i canceled it from option but it still works wt can i do

when i start typing in address bare it start to search or predict the site or texts and i unchecked it from options but it still working i dont like it i want to cancel this option

Are you using this setting?

  • Firefox (Tools) > Options > Privacy > Location Bar: When using the location bar, suggest: Nothing

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
