When I click on the new tab "cross" to create a new tab I do not automatically switch to the newly created tab I have to click on the new tab to use it. With other versions of Firefox when I created the new tab I switched to the new tab automatically. I have tried changing the options and rebooting with out success.

Another user reported that this problem was caused by the FoxTab add-on. If you have FoxTab installed, you could try disabling just this add-on. There is also a preview version of FoxTab that is supposed to be compatible with Firefox 5.

If you do not use the FoxTab add-on, see Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems for more help.

That fixed the problem. Thanks
