How can I change toolbar color? I cannot see dark icons because the toolbar background is so black

The newer versions of Firefox uses a blue-black backgrounds. Some icons, such as page forward and backward is also in a dark blue color. It is hard to see especially when I have the laptop screen at an angle comfortable for viewing.

Reset to the Firefox "Default" theme in Add-ons > Appearance. Then, if you wish, find a different Theme or Persona, that is not so dark:
