I have a page that keeps on setting itself as my homepage that is STARTNOW with a bing search bar. I got rid of everything bing on my computer and kept on setting my homepage within the internet options settings and even uninstalled firefox from my computer even through the registry and reinstalled it and still the same until I put an older version in and it still will not allow me to use my homepage the firefox logo is now remaining there. you now have a virus that attacks firefox which needs to be corrected on the newer version

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
