Chosen solution

This is an indication that you have an add-on installed which is incompatible with Firefox 5.0.x

To determine which one it is start Firefox in Safe Mode. See this article which explains the procedure: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode

If you have the Ask Toolbar installed, remove it by clicking the orange Firefox button, go to Add-ons, then Extensions.

If this answers your question, please click the Solved it button next to this post after you log in into the forum. This will help others searching for a solution to the same subject.
