WITHIN THE LAST FEW DAYS NO MATTER WHAT WEBSITE I GO TO THE LINKS IN THE BANNER OR TOP PORTION OF THE PAGE DO NOT WORK. THE SYSTEM DOESN'T SEEM TO KNOW THAT THEY ARE LINKS WHEN I HOVER OVER THEM I GET THE MOUSE ARROW ICON INSTEAD OF THE HAND LIKE I DO ON ALL OTHER LINKS ON THE PAGE. THE LINKS ON THE SIDES AND BOTTOM OF THE PAGE WORK JUST FINE. WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS?

Chosen solution

That is a problem with the Yahoo! Toolbar.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I don't know what's causing this problem but I found out that by going to full screen format (Push F11) then everything works perfectly. Hope that helps!

You're welcome.

I already assumed that there has been a recent update of the Yahoo! Toolbar.
There have quite some reports about this issue and I hope that Yahoo will fix this as soon as possible.
