unable to open firefox :(
my husband and i have been using firefox without any problem for a long time until yesterday morning it has stopped working. we reinstalled again and again but to no avail. i copied a part of the problem report and am hoping that someone will be able to help us figure this out.
i wanted to clear cookies and cache but i'm unable to access the toolbar at the top. the only thing i'm seeing when i open: a window with two tabs that says "connecting" and pinwheel spinning (Mac), that's it. i even went into firefox safe mode and still could not access the toolbar and even tried to get it to open in safe mode but no luck.

-> Clear Cookies & Cache
Check and tell if its working.
Thanks but I cannot access to the toolbar at the top at all. It wouldn't let me select anything from it. The pinwheel keeps on spinning. The only thing I can do is right click and select 'force quit'.
Check and tell if its working.
sorry i got confused with the terms...it's the menu bar that i cannot access, not the toolbar.
i did find this:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Firefox%20hangs
and did a couple of things but nothing had worked. i could not do 'Firefox consumes a lot of CPU resources' because safe mode does not work at all.
i'm starting to think that maybe i should take my mac mini to the apple store and have someone check it out. safari works just fine and other programs too...its just firefox. so thanks for your help!! :)
Check whether you are using Firefox in Safe Mode
- click Firefox button and Unselect Full Screen
- To Toggle Full Screen On/Off press F11 or Fn + F11 or command+Shift+F
Check and tell if its working.
