When I use "Firefox" and go to websites that have sound all I get is intermittent-warbling fall-off of sound, slow sound, and everything slows down. My Outlook Express works great as does my Windows Media Player. It is only sound coming through Firefox that is terrible.

Hi,

You can temporarily try to open such problematic sites inside Firefox using IE Tab + or IE Tab. If you would like to disable the sounds completely, you can Disable the troublesome Plugins in Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons.

Dear dumdidadida:

Thanks for your input. My grandson suggested the problem might be with the Adobe Flash Player plug-in-version 11.3.300.265. He says I'm not the only Firefox user with this problem. It might be an Adobe/Firefox software problem. Thanks again.....CorkysDad

You can check for problems caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and possibly downgrade to Flash 11.2 or 10.3.
