Windows 7 "Restore to an earlier time" lost all my Firefox bookmarks and favicons.

I have Windows 7 and Firefox 18.0.1 -- I did a Windows "Restore your computer to an earlier time", which I have done before with no trouble. This time, however, though I kept all my desktop shortcuts and IE toolbar icons, I lost ALL my Firefox toolbar icons and everything in my bookmark dropdown menu. Is it possible to restore them, and if so, how? I've looked through the Firefox support section, but don't know which (if any) of the solutions would apply to my situation. Thanks.

hello, try if you can undo the system restore & make a backup of the firefox profile folder before you attempt it again...
