I had Babylon. I've been trying to get rid of it. I would use spybot search and destroy. It would find it, then I'd click 'fix the problem', then a message would appear that it was in use and spybot wanted to open up in my start up. So, I would re-start my computer, spybot came up, and it could not 'fix' the babylon problem because it was in use.... Same thing over and over. So, I unplugged the internet from my computer and ran spybot s&d. It found the 'babylon problem', then I clicked 'fix' and it fixed it. FINALLY. But now when I click on my 'firefox' icon, Firefox won't work. I get a message that sys, "server not found........". So I can't get online. Now what do I do? I can't even check my e-mail.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.
