I created an account to synch important websites. Now, that I'm using the same exact email and password that I cautiously saved at the beginning, I am getting a message that my account doesn't exist. So I need to recover it.

Hi whereismyaccount, I understand that you have updated to a new version of Firefox and that the former sync account is not recognized.

If the account was created in a version before 29, you may have created it on the old sync server. If you have the recovery key, it is possible to install an older version and select the method of syncing to download locally. Install an older version of Firefox and Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles Please make sure to make a copy of the profile to ensure no data loss.
