With both GCI and Oceanic Time Warner imap servers, Thunderbird is randomly producing the wrong message body when opening incoming email messages. These message bodies are frequently from the other of my two email accounts (addresses.)

Additionally, while PDF and picture attachments can always be opened from the providers own email service, they will frequently not open through Thunderbird.

Thinking that it was a problem with GCI, I forwarded my messages to my local provider (Oceanic Time Warner) after establishing email accounts with them, but the problem did not go away.

Any suggestions?

Open an affected folder, right-click it, select Properties then Repair Folder.
