Firefox crashes
Firefox repeatedly crashes after hanging up when browsing. Videos are choppy and hang up as well. It usually will go for at least 20 minutes or so without a crash. I can open it fine without using Safe Mode; I updated Firefox and the drivers yesterday. I have not yet had another crash, but I am wonderingif there is anyting else I should do to prevent one. That is a problem with the Shockwave Flash plugin.
You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:
- check for updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration - disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
