I just had my Mac drive wiped clean to start fresh and I thought I had saved a backup of my bookmarks. I don't think I enrolled in Sync before although I don't know how I got my file with the bookmarkbackups and places.sqlite files (63 items in that folder - vmtpqxbh.default). Where do I place these backups?

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

If you use the Time Machine then try to restore the file(s) from that backup.

Hi, you can try this: Open bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Restore, and see if you have a backup there.

If not, please see -
