why does pinentry opens before selecting an encrypted email
I use Pinentry to decrypt emails and now pinentry opens when I open firefox and before selecting any encrypted emails. Also, I cannot close the pinentry encryption box after several tries. Is there some kind setting that will stop pinentry from opening when thunderbird is opened?

I am confused... what is this all to do with Thunderbird?
Sorry for the confusion. The pinentry key dialogue box appears when opening Thunderbird to the inbox when the program is opened. The dialogue box had only appeared after selecting an encrypted email to open in the past. Not sure what changed. thanks for the reply.
