I have a friend that is having problems with plugins that she did not authorize. It is evident that she did not get them from Mozilla's excellent library of helpful tools and plugins. I have tried to re-install Firefox and have also tried to refresh Firefox as well. I have also downloaded Comodo Ice Dragon. The plugins will also show up there. All atempts to run the browers in safe mode have failed, or did not give me the option to remove the plugins. This might just be a Windows problem, as she may have been infected with a trojan horse.

Under what section does this add-on on the about:addons page?

Is this under plugins or under extensions?

Plugins are not under control of Firefox and need to be removed either via its installer in the Windows Control Panel or manually from its installation folder on the hard drive.
