I am using a govt of India website, etenders.gov.in on a Mac Book Pro. The website uses an applet to authenticate a digital signature generated from a USB token.

The applet on this page is not getting recognized / loaded

I am using a Macbook Pro. Is there an equivalent version for Mac

I totally overlooked the fact that this is for Windows .... (my apologies).

'Been trying to find the equivalent for Mac, to no avail (keeping my fingers crossed that maybe someone else will ... )

You could try this, if you absolutely need to use Java :

http://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/52.9.0esr/

But as you seem to only need Java on this one site, I wouldn't recommend it, as there will be no security updates .....

If you were on Windows I would suggest to use Internet Explorer, as that is the only browser that (still) supports Java.

Hello HRSUDEER,

You could use the portable Firefox 52.9.0 ESR as it will not interfere with your Firefox release version and Profiles (assuming you will be using a supported Windows version and the latest Firefox version).
