Firefox, Windows 10, Malwarebytes, won't open Google products, except gmail. Happening on multiple computers. I fix the issue and a week later it comes back. It is too time consuming to continue to repair this problem. I find it hard to believe that this issue keeps reoccurring between Firefox and Google. I need a permanent fix as this issue cost $$$$ in lost productivity.

unfortunately there are very few references to this certificate when you try to google the information - interestingly one result is also referencing Comcast's Buisness Cablemodem DPC3939B.

i'd try to take the router off the power for a minute or so and see if it's behaving differently afterwards...

Do you mean this site:

What error message(s) do you get, and what is the fix you have been using?

Similar error on all photos.google.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed. The certificate is only valid for . The certificate expired on Friday, August 23, 2013, 8:17:26 PM. The current time is March 6, 2019, 3:18 PM. Error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT

In the past I have been able to clear site data, close, reopen and log back in. That is no longer working.

this is sounding very suspicious - google would not use a certificate that's expired for years on one of its major web properties, so something on your system or network is meddling with secure connections.

could you click on the "MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT" error code - this should lead you to more technical information about the error. please use the button to copy that into the clipboard and paste it here into a reply on the forum? perhaps this can provide more clues about what's going on...

Yeah this is odd as all my computers are less than 6 months old. Never had a problem on the old machines running windows 7. We also never had a problem on the old version of Firefox. These issues did not occur until the new release.

thanks, is this in a corporate environment? it looks like some cisco appliance is man-in-the-middling your network traffic. the certificate details are:

C=CN, ST=Shanghai, L=Shanghai, O=Cisco, OU=CHSBU, CN=USGv2, emailAddress=shiywang@cisco.com

does this make any sense to you?

Small business. We use Comcast Business. That could be coming from the router?

I think there may be an issue with the router firewall. Clearing data, log out, restart everything got things working again.
