Firefox 65.02 64bit on Win10 freezes on youtube video playing (tested with three different videos). Furthermore I cannot restart Firefox, because one process remains in task manager and I cannot terminate/kill it. I can start Firefox again only after restart.

I removed profile, all add-ons and downgraded to Firefox 64.02 64 bit and it works as expected. After upgrade same error occurs.

There are three solutions you can try •Type about:support in the address bar then press start browser in safe mode, this will disable all add-ons. This will help you determine if there is an add-on causing problem. If this didn't work then. •Google flash player and download the newest version of it, as it help running youtube. If this didn't work •Then go to firefox setting and disable hardware acceleration

Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes). If the problem goes away, that tells us one thing. If it does not, that tells us something else.

After some digging I have found video that works https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tusUavIa4c (normal mode, hardware acceleration enabled)

But for example next video does not https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4krWWfVw-4 (tested in safe-mode, hardware acceleration disabled)

Both videos work in FF 64.02.
