I would like to tag all drafts so they are highlighted in my "Unread search" folder (to distinguish them from unread received emails!).

I am using pop3 and the message are saved in Local Folders subfolder Drafts.

I cannot find anything in message filters to do this as it doesn't operate when saving drafts, only sending or receiving?

Is there a way to do this?

Thunderbird 52.9.1, Windows 8.1

In the saved 'Search folder' you should be able to enable the 'Location' column header and this would tell you what folder they are in. Then you can sort by Location to quickly locate them.

Click on the small icon to far right of column headers with tooltip 'select columns to display' and a drop down appears, so you can click on 'Location'.
