Emails suddenly only appear in the "All Mail". I tested by sending to myself. Only went to "All Mail". I tested by sending to myself with BCC to myself. Neither arrive in the In box. I also tested without my address in the "To" line but my address in the BCC line, and it arrived under "undisclosed recepients.

When you send a message to yourself in gmail, it only copies the message to the Sent folder (Sent Mail in TB), not Inbox. Try sending from a non-gmail account. Most users unsubscribe All Mail; see the All Mail section here.

I have been using Thunderbird for 2 years. When I send a message I always BCC to myself and get that in my inbox, so the message goes to the receiver, to the sent box and to my in box. The change suddenly happened yesterday, when I noticed no received mail. I checked All Mail and there they were. So I tested everything, and discovered this discrepancy. But this morning I see messages once more in my in box, so somehow it has righted itself. Thank you for your input.
