This issue is very annoying! Is this occurring by your design?

I'm not able to install any add-ons. Error message: Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt.

It seems that this issue has been ongoing for others for a long while, and judging by the same posts in Mozilla Support, there does not seem to be any real and lasting resolve for this issue.

Are you working to resolve this?

Thanks

Hi Paul, I'm not sure of your question... Why does this matter?

MetaMask & DuckDuckGo

What security software do you have?

It is possible that (anti-virus) security software is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.

ESET.

I'll give it a try.

Will circle back.
