You have to go to Firefox settings to enable AutoFill and AutoSave for it to remember logins and for it to save them. If you don't enable these Auto settings they will not save or remember logins.

I have a similar problem with autofill for logins and passwords. The first problem showed up when accessing CVS.com starting at the first of this year (2023) when they made major changes to their web site so I thought that it was only a cvs issue. Instead of showing my login email I get - email address required. Once I enter the address, the saved password will auto fill. Last night, windows did a system update and today, I have this same issue with my earthlink email addresses. I used to get a list of the active addresses, now, like with cvs, I have to enter the address first. After that the related password will auto fill. This issue is only using firefox. Microsoft Edge does not seem to be similarly affected. ME will automatically fill in the last address I accessed but will show me all active addresses when I click on the address field. In firefox I do have the autofill logins and passwords selected.
