Firefox Homepage on my iPhone

more options

I've installed Firefox (version 118.0 (34465)) on my iPhone 13, but it has an annoying quirk which I'm hoping can be stopped in Settings.

When I open the Firefox app, it opens all the pages I hadn't previously closed, but adds a new homepage.

When the app is open in the background and I make it active, it adds a new homepage.

This is annoying, because if I change between Firefox and any other app several times, it adds a new homepage and makes it active.

Is there a setting to prevent this, please, because I can't find it.

It doesn't do this in Firefox on my iMac.

Thank you.
