How do I get java working?

Okay I go under tools then options then go to content and I don't have the box to enable java, I have uninstalled and reinstalled fire fox multiple times and I still don't have that box and I can't play a lot of games due to this, I have gone to the Java website and downloaded that as well but it is still not working. Please help!

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== I updated to the newest version of Fire fox

Okay I go under tools then options then go to content and I don't have the box to enable java, I have uninstalled and reinstalled fire fox multiple times and I still don't have that box and I can't play a lot of games due to this, I have gone to the Java website and downloaded that as well but it is still not working. Java was removed from the Content tab in Options. It now is with all the other plugins, under Tools > Addons >> Plugins
