Recently, after one of the Aurora updates, middle-clicking stopped working properly for context menus. Previously for example middle-click on View Image opened that image in a new tab. Now it just opens it in the same tab, like it was a regular left-click. This is very annoying.

Ok, I've found out what is the cause. It's an add-on called Omnibar and I indeed had it installed on my both Auroras on PC at home and my laptop at work. Now it's time to contact the add-on developer and wait for an update.

It is working fine here on Linux with the current Aurora build.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You can try to reset Firefox and create a new profile.
