My work email address is John.Lovely@macdow.com.au but google identifies my address as Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia and won't accept any change of location except within Malaysia. I've turned off geo.enabled as per help and has had no effect. I just want all this Automation to go away so I can set my location.

Who knows - I tried Google Chrome and it put me in the same place as Firefox and confirming (to my mind) that the problem was google, not firefox. Then I opened MS IE and it had my country and city correct. next thing it was ok in Firefox as well! Maybe Firefox reads the Internet Explorer settings. Any way it fixed itself.
