How can I open link in new tab or in new window with keyboard shortcuts and not with mouse(R.C) ?

How can I open link in new tab or in new window with keyboard shortcuts and not with mouse(R.C) ?

Seçilen çözüm

Do you mean links on a web page or links that you type in the location bar of a currently open tab?

You can use Alt + Enter in the location bar to open a link in a new tab.
You can't open a new window that way and you first need to open a new window via Ctrl+N and then paste or type the URL in the location bar.

Links on web pages can't usually easily be opened with only the keyboard as this would require to press the Tab key until the link gets a focus ring, so it is best to use the mouse for this as the others posted above.

With the mouse, you also can use these: Ctrl+left click, middle-click (or mouse wheel-click).

Purely using the keyboard, do you normally open links by pressing Tab until they are selected and then pressing Enter? If so, hold the Ctrl key when you press Enter to open the selected link in a new tab.

There are programs/add-ons/userscripts which create hotkeys for links. If you are using one of those, perhaps there is a solution there, too, but it would depend on how that particular program/add-on/userscript works. If you could provide more detail, that would be helpful.

hello soroush, ctrl+click (or middle-click on the mouse) will open a link in a new tab, shift+click in a new window.

from your submitted system details it also appears that you're using an old version of firefox. please note that continuing using outdated versions of firefox affected by numerous known security vulnerabilities will put the integrity of your system and your personal data on it at risk! please also update your plugins (some of them have security vulnerabilities that are actively exploited on the web).
