All Firefox versions for Windows are 32 bit version, so you can just install the version from the Mozilla server.

You can find the full version of the current Firefox 28.0 release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:

The system requirements state: Please note that while the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7 can be used to run Firefox 26, only 32-bit builds of Firefox 26 are supported at this time.

The help page from the extension in question (1Password) states: 64-bit Firefox cannot use the 1Password extension, so the 1Password item will not appear in the Customize Toolbar dialog box.

While I am not sure what version of Firefox is running, I cannot get the extension to work. I have not problem running the extension in Firefox 28 on 32-bit Windows 7.

If you downloaded Firefox from mozilla.org what makes you think you have 64-bit Firefox?.

If it says WOW64 in useragent then it means it is a 32-bit app on 64-bit Windows.

Mozilla does not have any 64-bit Firefox Release for Windows, only 32-bit and it can run on 64-bit Windows.

There are some third-party 64-bit builds of Firefox releases for Windows and you can build it yourself though the 64-bit Windows Firefox stuff is still a work in progress and not really considered stable.

If you check the Add-ons page, is the 1Password extension enabled? Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Any disabled extensions cluster at the bottom.

If it's not present on the Add-ons page, the FAQ suggests: "In 1Password preferences, just disable the 1Password extension for Firefox, and then re-enable it."
