When I'm connected to Private Internet Access VPN on my phone (using their app in the play store) occasionally Firefox gets into a state in which no webpages can be loaded. I can fix the problem in one of two ways: (1) use Google Chrome for Android or any other app that uses the internet or (2) disconnect from VPN and use Firefox without that protection. Sometimes when I reconnect to VPN, Firefox pages will load again but sometimes not.

The loading bar in Firefox Mobile always gets stuck in the same spot, which I am thinking could be diagnosed to determine which part of the http protocol it might be stuck at. I am hoping I can attach a screenshot.

I really believe in what you guys are doing. Keep fighting the good fight.

It could possibly be that the dns is failing, but to be sure there would need to be a log and need to be tested on lte and wireless to see if its consistent.

This may be what you are experiencing bug 947801 Please take note of the bugzilla etiquette: here

Sounds about right. It appears my issue is very similar or identical to the bug you referenced. If you want me to do some testing I can -- maybe get a log file -- you'll just have to point me in the right direction. But if it's just noise at this point, then I'll drop it for now and let you guys take care of it when you can.

I'd be happy to post a log, how would I do that?
