Not only on Yahoo.com on other websites too I get this message. "Firefox has prevented the unsafe plugin Adobe flash from running" some times also show "Allow this time Allow and remember" something like this. The websites which are safe and I know them I use Allow.

I wonder why all of sudden this strict security?

Additional: Windows OS/Software/Flash players/Drivers are up to date.

hello, adobe has released a critical patch to mitigate yet another vulnerability in its flash plugin, which is reportedly already exploited in the wild. therefore firefox will block insecure versions from running by default on websites for your protection. please update to Adobe Flash Player version 18.0.0.209as soon as possible, which you can download from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html (use the windows-exe for plugin-based browsers).

Hi, thank you for the reply and advice. Flash Player updated.

Frankly, no matter how vulnerable it is, I find it offensive to have Firefox not give me the option to globally reactivate Flash Player. It's my PC and my browser, I should have the option of using it as I see fit, vulnerable or not.

In my case when Firefox prevented the website it also showed options could not re call exact wording but something like Allow Now, Allow Remember. Would you share what happened in your case?
