I would like to either enable the blocksite add-on in private mode or disable private mode. Is this possible?
I am using firefox on the desktop and on my android phone (7.1.1). I really enjoy the app, and I am especially happy that the android version of firefox allows me to install some addons. However, they do not function in private mode, and I cannot find an option to disable private mode. How can i work around this limitation?

Are you using the Firefox Focus version?
In Focus private browsing is always enabled. Make sure to install the regular release.

I would recomend contacting the indepdant developer of the add-on for help wth this issue. You can find their contact details on the page you downloaded the add-on from.
it may be the case that they need to alter their add-on for this to happen, but they will be best placed to help you.
