Upgrade from 63 to 64, no extensions/addons or security apps present. Flash enabled to make the login page available. After inputing username/password and selecting domain, hitting enter or pressing Login does nothing. Our only solution at the moment is to downgrade to 63 and disable automatic updating.

Firefox 64 (64bit) Adobe Flash Player 32 NPAPI 32.0.0.101 Adobe Shockwave Player 12.3.4.204

Well it looks like I found the "issue".

dom.ipc.plugins.sandbox-level.flash

default was 3, I switched to 2 and the login screen became functional. Then switched it back to 3, and remained functional.

Hi vStewie, your second screenshot doesn't seem to be displaying for me. If that shows an error message, it might be helpful for reference as we start to get other reports of Flash issues in Firefox 64. If it similarly shows "nothing happens" then it's probably not worth uploading again.

Could you submit a support ticket to VMWare about this? They may be able to tell you if there is a new issue with Flash, some setting change required, or otherwise resolve the issue. Unfortunately, since it is a proprietary application, it's very difficult for support forum volunteers to investigate.

While you have the developer tools open, if you click over to the Console tab, are any errors noted there related to either the initial page load or the submission of login credentials? We won't always understand Flash-specific errors, but it's worth a look, and also could be relevant to a VMWare support ticket.

Good day sir. Thank you for the reply. The 2nd screenshot was an accidental duplicate and was removed. VMware has been queried as well, I will post back if I hear anything from them. The console tab is empty. I know this isn't an isolated issue as I have MANY orgs impacted.

I do understand the difficulty with support involving proprietary apps from a volunteer community, I appreciate and respect that for sure. Cheers

Did you check the Web Console for possible messages related to this issue?

Hey cor-el,

The web console shows nothing other than I navigated to the site.
