why does Firefox for Android only shows 100 sites in history?

i am using Firefox for more than 3 years now .. recently i replaced Chrome with firefox in my android phone too. But there's a problem history tab is only showing 100 sites and there's no way to store more sites Whatsoever. Is it a bug or is there any other way to enable unlimited history saving?

Hi

I believe that the number if history items is limited to prevent Firefox for Android having too large a history and completely slowing up your Android device.

If this was "unlimited", over time you would have significant speed issues as all the memory and capacity if the device was filled with the browsing history.
