I've noticed on m.kuaikanmanhua.com that on Android it seems that Safe Browsing only checks the host and not actually the full domain. This particular website for instance hosts (some) its images on f2.kkmh.com, and while Google's Safe Browsing web interface reports it to be safe (https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=f2.kkmh.com&hl=en), it is still blocked in Firefox for Android as malware site. I suppose this warning originates from the host kkmh.com which probably got its APK download server reported or something (https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=kkmh.com&hl=en).

My question now is, how can I have Firefox check for the exact domain instead of just the hostname as I suppose it does now? Or could this be an issue with Safe Browsing result caching, and if so how do I reset it?

Hi

Both of those sites are showing as being served over http rather than the more secure https.

I am not seeing any insecure site warning for f2.kkmh.com in Firefox Preview. I recommend that your try the site in Firefox Preview as that has been built differently to Firefox for Android and may treat the situation you describe in a different way.

Thank you for the response.

There is indeed no issue in Firefox Preview. However, I can't switch browsers permanently as I rely on some add-ons not yet available for Firefox Preview. So I'd like to know if there's anything I could do about this in the "normal" Firefox for Android.

Thanks in advance.
