yes. the pluggin was compromised last year.

and the Mozilla programmers have been working hard to fix the bugs. for now, it seems ok for windows but not for mac

but i think google chrome for mac has the plugin available.

Unfortunately, Widevine CDM 4.10.2209.1 no longer supports macOS 10.9 and 10.10 (minimum is 10.11).
